Ashbury College, established in 1891, is an independent university preparatory school located in the Nation’s capital. Ashbury’s mission is to engage students in a dynamic learning environment and to inspire them to become intellectually vibrant, compassionate and responsible citizens.
For over 100 years, Ashbury College has been fostering the academic, athletic, artistic and spiritual development of our day and boarding students. With an average class size of 17 students, a dedicated faculty and well-structured athletic and cocurricular activities, Ashbury College helps students reach their potential.
The Junior School is a coed day school with 165 students from Grades 4-8. The Senior School has been coeducational since 1982, with 100 boarding students and 410 day students in Grades 9-12.
Between diplomatic families posted to Ottawa and our boarding program, Ashbury’s student body has representatives from 30 different countries.
